Working In Augusta
A region built on granite, literally.
Neighboring Hallowell's granite quarries supplied the stone for the Maine State House itself back in the 1820s, and that history is part of why the capital area has so many older stone walls, granite curbs, and stone foundations worth maintaining today.
We do plenty of new work around Augusta, patios, retaining walls, driveways, but we're equally comfortable repairing or matching existing stonework on an older property rather than just replacing it.
